The Digital Photography Educational Group (D.P.E.G.) is a series of monthly meetings designed to help guide photographers, whether professional, hobbyist, or snap shooter, through the learning curve that is considerable in the transition from film to digital picture taking.
Set up in the tradition of Camera Clubs. DPEG plans to incorporate image sharing and critique as well as information and presentations by professionals in all aspects of digital photography, including photographers of all genres, equipment sales representatives, software experts and those specializing in photo presentation (framing, book binding and audio visual).
Currently hosted by Kingston Photo Center, 80 Summer Street (rte 3a) in Kingston, MA, DPEG monthly meetings welcome new members from all levels of proficiency in the art of digital photography. Novices and beginners are particularly encouraged to attend.
Monthly dues are minimal ($10 or $100 annually) and will be used to provide refreshments and to supply some guests with a modest stipend for sharing their expertise.
